The purpose of ShiftingScapes is to share the stories of those of us who are closer to the planthroposcene than most, through personal accounts, they offer insight into how they have cultivated spaces within the urban jungle we find ourselves.

My relationships with these people were initiated through posted letters through the doors of homes that saw plants and architecture spill into one - be it through potted petunias or sprawling senecio.

Following outreach efforts, I received responses from several people keen to be involved - Please sit, stand or slouch and watch through the window into the lives of those making our city a greener, sweeter place to be.

I'm Fergus  a student, maker and creative thinker based in London Currently enrolled on an undergraduate degree at Central Saint Martins College of Art
