Asked to represent a colour in a black and white photograph, I chose red symbolising good fortune in Chinese culture and maybe just as notably bloodshed.

Reminiscing those whose fortune fell foul at the hands of the butcher, a lone survivor, who's asked not to be named, revisits loved ones in both mourning and in hope of eventual closure.
