A concertina publication with UV printed front & back covers exploring my contrasting encounters with farming, livestock and the food that makes it to my table

Capturing both the farmlands that surround my family home in Somerset and the local butcher shop in the neighbourhood I called home when I first moved to London to study. I wanted to install an understanding of farming in others and explore my contrasting encounters with meat.

From living amongst farms, fields and wandering livestock - The open country was almost all I knew growing up and so seeing how far removed produce seems in the context of London, a concrete jungle, intrigued and bamboozled me.

The printed series juxtaposes these two worlds strung far apart.

More or less an A3 UV printed publication containing film & digital photography, manipulated imagery and captions.
